OUR PRACTICE

Dr. Garofalo has more than 20 years of practice and surgical experience covering many facets of obstetrics and gynecology. He believes in “evidence-based medicine” – that is, healthcare guided by the best scientific evidence available – as a guiding practice philosophy. Depending upon the patient’s medical condition and individual situation, evidence-based medicine may mean watchful waiting, medications, surgical treatments, nutritional or lifestyle modifications, or referral for exploration of options not provided in Dr. Garofalo’s office.

Dr. Garofalo prides  himself on the small-practice feel, personal attention and consistency of care that only a solo practice can provide. He maintains the utmost respect for patient privacy. Many of his nurses have been with him for more than a decade and know most of his patients by name. The phones are answered by real people (whenever possible) and patient concerns are dealt with personally and promptly.

Dr. Garofalo’s office is located in the medical offices of Norwalk Hospital. His patients come from throughout New England, Connecticut and especially from in and around Fairfield County including Westport, Norwalk, Bridgeport, Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Fairfield, Ridgefield, Easton, Redding, and Rowayton.
