EMERGENCIES

If you are in labor:

Call Dr. Garofalo at 203.855.3535 for instructions.

If it is after hours, the answering service will route your call to Dr. Garofalo.  You will hear back from the doctor within 15 minutes.  If, under unusual circumstances, you do not hear back within 15 minutes, proceed directly to the hospital to Labor & Delivery.

If you have a serious medical problem that requires immediate attention: 

Call Dr. Garofalo’s office at 203.855.3535. 

Ask to speak to the doctor or a nurse to discuss your problem and be seen the same day. 

If you have a serious medical emergency:

Call 911 and plan to go to the nearest hospital.
